Detection of Red-Light Violation
Šorf, Milan ; Bartl, Vojtěch (referee) ; Špaňhel, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis is focused on automatic detection of red-light violation using static camera. Theoretical part of the thesis describes the principle of detection and introduces various methods of detecting traffic lights and cars as well as their reliability metrics. The thesis also illustrates implementation of the application for evaluation of these methods.
Traffic Light Control for a Group of Crossroads
Kaleta, Radoslav ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the control of intersections with traffic lights. These group of intersections include several crossroads with sensors, which are able to conrol the adjacent intersections. Control is based on a system called TAPIOCA that falls under dynamic systems. The control system is implemented into existing traffic simulator, which was created as a bachelor thesis at FIT BUT.
Program for Monitoring RS485 Bus Communication
Zukal, Marek ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Peringer, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this project was to solve recording and displaying the data from the control bus of the traffic light controller device. A program for recording the data was created for the usage on an embedded PC. A portable application with a graphic user interface was implemented to display singal image from the recorded data.
Crossroad model with industrial communication
Záviš, Jan ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This diploma project summarizes a theoretical introduction regarding the issue of traffic light control. Further there is industrial communication discussed, where they are the Ethernet / IP protocol and the Modbus TCP protocol described more in detail. The following is the description of the Logix series programmable controllers. Then the diploma follows up with market research in order to find the most suitable development kit which is used as a trial prototype. Then it is concerned with a development kit with a communication module from AND-TECH company. Software was developed on them, more specifically a library for processor ports, memory and the Modbus TCP protocol. After verifying the functionality of the software, the hardware design was started. From the first site it is development kit and module and from the second site there are input and output circuits. There must be the assessment of the results found during the test operation. The end of the document describes incorrect steps that were repaired in hardware.

Model for the project area NOMŘÍZ
Přikryl, Jan
This document describes the basic state model of the area used in the updated version of the control algorithm for the project NOMŘÍZ. The document is a shortened version of the internal uncollated nonpublic implementation document for internal use ÚTIA and ELTODO as.
Statistical analysis and research on the links in the measured traffic data
Brabec, M. ; Konár, O. ; Kasanický, I. ; Pelikán, E. ; Přikryl, Jan
One of the current problems in transport research is the problem of availability of huge amounts of unused data measured telematics systems on motorways and urban roads. This data often contain information that - without the use of appropriate mathematical tools for data analysis - remain hidden and unused for traffic control. Within the project, a new method of traffic congestion in the urban areas, our aim is to propose new algorithms for adaptive control of urban transport networks. The current version of the algorithm is based on a linearized model of the development length of the queue of vehicles waiting at the red light, based on the classic balance of conservation. This model is for cases saturation supplemented alternative model queue length as a function of traffic occupancy detector. The aim of the work described in this report was to investigate possible links and other hidden states of the transport system, hidden in the measured data, and until now not considered by the traffic model used.
